The Objective

Ever wanted to climb to the top of a mountain? Alpine Scrambling for Beginners is a Boreal Wilderness Institute Rocky Mountain trek that allow participants to climb a mountain and enjoy a easy backpacking trip all in one trek. This trip will allow you to climb to the top of a Mountain in the Rockies and just soak in the breathtaking view. Bring along your camera and your love of adventure.

Participants are responsible for suitable clothing, meals, and camping equipment. Included in the fee is group safety equipment and professional guiding. Our route involves no technical climbing although it is steep. You will need to be in reasonable physical condition to join us on this breathtaking trip in the mountains. The meeting place is the Alberta Forest Service Campground at Whitehorse Creek south of Cadomin.
