The Wilderness Navigation Core Seminar fully integrates GPS Receivers, NTS Topographical Maps, and Compass Skills into an innovative one day seminar. GPS Receivers are an excellent tool for navigation when properly used along side a topographical map and compass. This highly practical seminar provides excellent knowledge for anyone hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, mountain biking, quading, snowmobiling, or paddling who wishes to travel into the wilderness and get back safely.
