Our Aviation Survival courses are a specialized response to the survival needs of the modern aircrew. Aviation Survival Part I is a well-researched and documented introduction to modern aviation survival. It updates the playing field and provides contemporary information on the concepts you need to survive after an aviation accident. The course covers survival physiology, clothing, fire lighting, shelter building, modern emergency signals, aviation survival equipment, and preparation. Transport Canada regulation will be discussed and analyzed.

How many pilots are stranded in the Canadian Wilderness each year?

We will also deals with how to mentally prepare yourself for surviving in the wilderness and how to handle your passengers during this crisis. We will discuss and analysis typical aviation survival episodes. The Search and Rescue system in Canada will be discussed.

What Modern Survival Innovations can help you?

Each section will be highlighted with a display and an extensive reading list will be provided along with Transport Canada regulations for survival equipment in all regions of Canada. This course is based on Wilderness Survival Core Seminar and is given equivalency for the BWI's Survival Certificate or other Modern Survival Training & Courses. The next step is to take the Aviation Survival Part 2.
