Cold Weather Stove Operation Cold Weather Stove and and Equipment Testing

Cold Weather Stove and and Equipment testing is ongoing. We are continuing to test various combinations of the MSR "Heat Exchanger", "Wind Shield", the Outback Oven "Convection Dome" and various types of stove boards. We hope to present the best combination for boiling water at cold temperatures and to show the fuel savings of carrying these extra items over the long term. We are also working on a new portable crane for use over fires that is light, portable, and cheap.

Presently the use of the Outback Oven "Convection Dome" has far out stripped anything else for fuel savings vs. weight
