Vehicle Survival Considerations and Suggestions

Vehicle survival is often overlooked because if we can start our vehicle we believe we will have no problems on the road. Preparation for a vehicle survival situation is different depending on when you are planning to go and where you plan to travel. How and what you pack is vital, but you must also remember to prepare differently and well in advance for unconventional type of trips.

Always carry the 15 Critical Item's, they may mean the difference between life and death. This is most vital when travelling into harsh remote environments where limited resources will be found. You must plan in advance to stay alive, regardless of the conditions in the Survival Environment. Remember it is not you carrying the gear, so error on the side of taking it along. Chains and a shovel should always be carried to allow you to free your vehicle.
